What an amazing dinner ! As I sit here and write this the next day, I am still blown away by the amazing time i had. The bartender was amazing and attentive, and his drinks were poured perfectly ! Even in a busy bar (every seat was full) it felt as though he was able to give us personal attention.

The food was superb! Ordered to perfection.  The bread before the meal was hot and delicious. (We skipper the salad to save room for the main course) For the main course the cut was right, and it tasted better than any ribeye I've ever had.

I will definitely be back and will encourage my friends and family to check out this great restaurant.

We have been eating here for years. 2-3x per year whenever we visited. Always get a combo of kids food, buffet, and steaks.

Visited for lunch today. Absolutely dead. About 4-6 tables.

I ordered a 10oz Ribeye on Cast iron. Wife, buffet. Kids, chicken fingers.

Service: Very good. Attentive and nice.

    Atmosphere: murals galore. Maze.

    Food:

Steak- ordered mid rare. Came out blue. Sent back to cook a bit more. I like rare steak. But this was raw. And the quality of steak isn't there for raw.

2nd cooking: well done and butterflied. Who butterflies a steak for medium rare?  Just cook to 130. Not that hard.

Buffet: bland. Gone downhill over the years. Tomato paste sauce. Non San Marzano here.

After years of visiting, sorry. We are going elsewhere from now on.

I give this four stars - even though I'm not a pasta or carb person.  Wanting a salad was a lot to overcome, but I made do OK.  We were seated right away - the place is HUGE!  My hubby insisted on going here as he's from Steubenville  - which is connected to the history of the restaurant.  He is also a big Italian pasta person - and all things meat.

You get a couple garlic rolls which he said were good.  You also get a tub of salad - much like Olive Garden.  Hubby got the buffet which is discounted before 6.  We got there right about then - but he still got the discount. Given the quantity, quality and variety of food he ate - he definitely got his money's worth.  He had the shells, meatballs sausages, lasagna, pizza, and went back for more.  This was after the salad but before the garlic roll.

Since the buffet was only pasta and meat entrees that I don't eat - I went with the smallest steak and 2 orders of the green beans.  I heard another lady seated nearby with the same challenge (no carbs) and similar order.  The steak was a perfect medium-rare and was wonderful.  I don't eat red meat hardly ever - and only will if it's a good cut.  The green beans were also really good.

The waitress was patient with me - which I appreciated.  I had stupidly assumed that a buffet would have salad and hadn't prepared for a Plan B.  She kept the drinks filled and was nice.

If we ever come back, I'll skip going here - just send the hubby.  But that's just me - the place was great for him and almost every other normal eater in the world.

This is my "go to" spot every year on my vacation. The food is ALWAYS to die for. The wait is expected, so nothing to really complain about. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience here. Think I may hit it one more time before I head home.

This may be the "hidden gem" of Myrtle Beach. On a whim, we heard about Angelo's from a fellow hotel guest. We also heard that they have a great early bird special... So we headed over and got in before 5:30 PM. The outside of the building is absolutely not consistent with the quality of food. They claim to have the "greatest steaks in the universe". It's certainly a bold claim, but I will say that the steaks were delicious. We started off with hot fresh bread, and a delicious salad, similar to the Olive Garden style. But I think that it's better than the OG.

We were able to snag steaks and sides, and add on the buffet, which was a absolute surprise. Every single thing on the buffet was phenomenal. Raviolis, lasagna, spaghetti, tortellini and Alfredo sauce, and the winner was the chicken cacciatore. Everything on the buffet was awesome, the pizza was just so-so, but I don't think that's what you get here. We also had phenomenal service by a wonderful server named Erica, and overall, I would highly recommend going early for the early bird, to avoid any long waits for food/tables.

Again, would have taken some pictures, except we were starving from being at the beach all day, and everything here was delicious.
